"This Website is my life's interest in music, radio and video production.

I was born on 27 February 1940 and christened Alexander Graham Bell. My Mum played the piano for dance nights on the Eastern Dorrigo. With my brother Harry and my sister Vonda formed our own dance band. After leaving school both Harry and I moved to Sydney where I was an apprentice at the Department. of Civil Aviation and Harry was employed at the Commonwealth Bank. We re-formed our dance band in Sydney. I played with different groups in hotels and clubs. Harry was very involved with the C.M.F. Army Band and became the Band Master of the 2nd Division R.A.A. He served for 38 years there. I married Dorne we returned to Coffs Harbour where we still live, We raised two boys Troy and Bradley.  I built a steel fishing trawler and trawled for nine years.

I was asked to look after a Country Music radio program at a Community Radio Station, 2CHY, in Coffs Harbour, Until then I had never been to any Radio Station nor had any desire to become a Radio Announcer. This experience led me to work at the ABC, producing country music radio programs for not only the ABC but also for 20 Commercial Radio stations around Australia. I was also asked to produce an "Australian Country Music Segment" for Goodman Productions in Nashville. My segment was named  "Country Down Under". I would feature a different  Australian Country Artist each week for this Radio Syndication Company in Nashville, USA, which I did for six months. This all came to an end when I found I had bowel cancer.

In 1998 a new Community Radio licence was offered in Coffs Harbour. I threw all my effort into firstly finding out if Coffs Harbour really wanted another radio station. I spoke at service clubs and organized public meetings. I found that they did, they wanted to hear music they knew. With a couple of mates we began to put together a country music radio station which would also broadcast Pop and Country Music. No other radio station in Coffs Harbour played this music. I won the "Communicator of the Year" Award in June 2000.  We won the radio licence and Pop and Country Music is now broadcast 24/7.  We named the new Community Radio Station in Coffs Harbour ‘2AIR FM’.

After getting over my operation I didn't return to radio. I produced local Coffs Harbour History Videos. My range of Australian History videos are available for purchase, these history videos are great for cinema screenings, as educational tools for regional Coffs Coast schools, or to simply learn a bit more about Coffs Harbour history."

I have entertained in Nursing Homes in the Coffs District since 2010. I talk to elderly people and sing songs. At 81 years old I will continue to do this as long as I can.

I have Arthritis in both hands.
